6 Aaron Hernandez

Former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez had a long history of violence when he was charged with the murder of his friend Odin Lloyd in 2013.

The evidence against him was substantial enough for him to be convicted, unlike another double-shooting incident in which he allegedly shot two death to people.

This last case came to trial while Hernandez was already in jail for the Lloyd murder. Soon after being acquitted in the double homicide, Hernandez hanged himself in his cell.

5 Michael Massee

Many will remember the actor The Gentleman in the Amazing Spiderman franchise made his debut in the 1994 cult movie The Crow. His name will be forever tied to The Crow, not for his performance but for the tragic incident in which Massee fatally shot the protagonist, Brandon Lee.

It was an accident, as everyone knows, as he was handed a gun with a bullet somehow lodged inside, but Massee had to live for the rest of his life with the guilt of having unwittingly killed a man and a promising young actor.

4 Sid Vicious

The troubled Sex Pistols bassist killed his girlfriend Nancy Spungen in 1978, during a fight. The murder took place on October 12, 1978, and initially, Vicious said he’d found her dead on the bathroom floor with a stab wound in the abdomen.

However, he later admitted to stabbing Nancy, although he said he never meant to kill her, which was probably right.

Over the next few months, he repeatedly said he should be underground with Nancy. In February, Sid Vicious died of an overdose many believed was a suicide.
