The one thing that helped him stay sane, the rigorous training routines that keep negative feelings at bay. Now that’s fortunate since his martial art skills have made him a massive star.

Beloved English actor Hugh Laurie has been suffering from clinical depression for most of his life.

Don’t be fooled by his hilarious quips; on the inside, he’s more like Dr. House, the character that brought him worldwide fame.

One of the most accomplished tennis players of all time, Venus Williams suffers from a condition known as Sjögren’s Syndrome.

It is an autoimmune disease that causes her joint pain and fatigue, making her career seem even more impressive. Some days she has to drag herself out of bed, and she has to power through her day.

In her peak years, that meant long hours of intensive training. Most healthy people would collapse under the strain, so it’s hard to imagine how hard it was for her when she also had to battle constant tiredness.

Unfortunately, Ben Stiller has bipolar disorder, which causes terrible mood swings. Sometimes it interferes with his work as he can be quite unpredictable on the set. Thank God that on-screen he’s predictably funny!

Singer Tony Braxton was diagnosed with lupus in 2010. It’s an autoimmune disorder that causes muscle and joint pains, rashes, fever, and kidney problems. In 2016, the R&B singer had to be hospitalized following a lupus flare-up.

The condition is not curable but can be kept under control with medication and constant monitoring. Tony Braxton has been quite open about her problems to raise awareness of this disease

Avatar star Zoe Saldana has been struggling with Hashimoto’s disease for all of her life. It’s an inherited genetic condition, and her mother and sisters are also affected by this disease.
