Breaking the law is never a good thing, no matter how good-looking you think you are.

The names listed here in the following stories only make tiny fraction of all inmates who were fortunate enough to gain popularity and notoriety for being s*xy convicted criminals.

Bear in mind that most people in this list had already been public figures including models and actors before their run-ins with the justice system happened.

Some are also wealthy people with enough financial power to hire just the right lawyers to at least acquire sentencing leniency for the offenses committed.

Regardless of how much you adore these people, they have demonstrated poor behavioral tendencies in many different situations, especially when dealing with life challenges.

You cannot simply consider them the ideal role models of life; if anything, their convictions should be taken as bad examples nobody should follow. Just remember that being s*xy is never an excuse to break the law.

10 Jeremy Meeks

Many people see Jeremy Meeks, a former member of the Crips, as the poster child of s*xy felons.

He was arrested in Stockton, California in June 2014 during a gang sweep operation and convicted of federal charges for grand theft and possession of a firearm.

Back in his gangster heyday, Meeks was considered one of the most violent criminals in the area.

Meeks is truly lucky man because his mugshot went viral soon after its publication by the City of Stockton Police Department.

Since his release in 2016, he has been a fashion model and walked for famous designers including Tommy Hilfiger and Philipp Plein.

9 Meagan McCullough

If you were spending reasonable amount of time on social media back in 2013, your newsfeed probably was filled with quite a lot of “Attractive Convict” memes created based on a mugshot of a female offender.

The mugshot was actually taken in 2010 after the person in the photo had been arrested for DUI.

As the mugshot went viral, the identity of the woman was revealed: Meagan McCullough, a mother of four and medical assistant from Zephyrhills, Florida.

She has been released many years ago and living pretty much normal, but thanks to the mugshot now she still has thousands of followers who regularly confess how much they love her.

8 Angela Coates

In August 2014, Angela Coates was arrested for disorderly conduct in DeKalb County, Georgia and released the same day, but it did not stop her mugshot from becoming a social media sensation. Coates was (still is) a model when the arrest happened.

She was once Jet Magazine’s “Beauty of The Week” so it wouldn’t be too surprising if even her mugshot captivated a lot of people.

The mugshot went viral almost immediately after it had been posted to GeorgiaArrest.com, leading a sizable number of people to expressing admirations on social media.

7 Armie Hammer

Armand Douglas Hammer, professionally known as Armie Hammer, has been in many popular movies including but not limited to The Social Network, J. Edgar, and The Lone Ranger.

In November 2011, he was arrested in Sierra Blanca, Texas for possession of several pot cookies and a brownie.

He shared his mugshot of the arrest in 2018, so it is safe to assume that he is already known worldwide as a Hollywood actor at that time.

But he deserves to be on this list nonetheless.

6 Lorena Tavera

In early October 2011, Lorena Tavera was arrested in El Paso for shoplifting a $69 shirt from a department store.

She was booked into the El Paso County Jail the next morning and released in the afternoon of the same day. As it turned out, Tavera was Miss El Paso 2008.

She was also crowned Miss El Paso Teen USA in 2006.

She also is a model for Laura’s Production in the city. Her mugshot of course became a hot image on the Internet for a time.

5 Sean Kory

In October 2014 during the annual Hollywood parade in Santa Cruz, California, the police arrested the then 29 years old Sean Kory for confronting and assaulting a man dressed as Fox news reporter.

He grabbed the victim’s microphone and continued attacking him with an aluminum tennis racket.

Apparently the victim was not injured. After the police had booked Kory into county jail, the authorities released his mugshot, and this was where his online popularity began.

Many people thought that Meeks’ mugshot looks creepy in comparison to Kory’s.

4 Lindsey Evans

Watch Robin Thicke’s video Blurred Lines again, and you’ll see a blonde model in it. She is Lindsey Evans, a model and female actor now known as Elle Evans.

She also was the 2008 Miss Teen Louisiana and Playboy Playmate of the Month for October 2009.

Just about a year before she became Playboy Playmate, Evans was arrested for skipping out a $46 restaurant tab and leaving a bag that contained marijuana.

As it turned out the mugshot didn’t seem to hurt her career at all.

3 Harry Pierpont

Attention-grabbing mugshot doesn’t just exist in recent years, but also in the decades gone by even during the era of prohibition.

Harry Pierpont, a friend and mentor of the infamous John Dillinger, was associated to a series of violent crimes including murders and bank robberies all across the United States.

He was arrested in January 1934. Pierpont made an attempt to escape death row, but it went horribly wrong as he was riddled with bullets before even leaving the death house.

He survived, but still he was executed in the electric chair while suffering from the gunshot wounds.

Pierpont stood over six feet tall, with light brown hair and blue eyes, and until today he is remembered for being one of the most dangerous yet attractive gangsters.

2 Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The former professional boxer (now boxing promoter) Floyd Mayweather Jr. is considered one of the greatest fighters in modern history.

In addition to his popularity in the ring, the former boxer also gained notoriety among law enforcement officers.

Between 2002 and 2011, he was involved in a series of charges of domestic violence and battery.

Around that time, Mayweather had already built a reputation as a successful boxer worldwide; it wasn’t surprising that his mugshot continues to circulate on the Internet.

1 Stephanie Beaudoin

Victoriaville is a small town in Quebec, Canada.

In the summer of 2014, the town was mentioned in headlines by international publications thanks to one person, Stephanie Beaudoin who led a group of teenage thieves.

The town received worldwide attention because the group of criminals was finally busted.

Stephanie Beaudoin was found guilty for breaking into at least 39 houses and stealing $80,000 worth of cash and jewelry.

And then suddenly her Facebook account was a hot search, earning her the title “world’s hottest thief.”
